HIS HOLINESS THE 14th DALAI LAMA'S 80th BIRTHDAY
Friends of the Dalai Lama announced today that a Global Compassion Summit will be held in honor of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s landmark 80th birthday. The three-day summit will feature world leaders, Nobel Laureates, celebrity guests, speakers and performers from around the globe and will begin July 5 with the official birthday celebration at Honda Center and continue July 6 & 7 at the UCI campus.
His Holiness’ world birthday celebration will feature extraordinary performances by Tibetan children and world-renowned musicians, as well as a public talk by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and a discussion on Awakening Compassion: The Transformative Power of Creativity and Art.
